Tried organise a get together here. Person who took the booking said that I would receive an email with menus within an hour. 4 days later I called again as I hadn't received it. Still nothing. 4 days later, I called again, no answer... so cancelled. I'll take my business elsewhere
We went for brunch for the first time here. The place was full anx they told us there is a waiting time up to 20 min. But they sat us in about 10min. The place looks really good, lots of natural light, clean. The staff was very fast and helpfull. We had Eggs Benedict, Full English breakfast and the Veggie English Breakfast. Lattes and fresh orange juice. The portions aren't very big but they are very tasty. We'll definitely go back.
Good management bad food. The waitress and manager were lovely when I went in with my family and had an issue with our meal. We ordered the roast and the gravy was awful it tasted like cigarettes it was a horrible flavor which had been poured on the whole meal so everything tasted like cigarettes. The manager didn't charge us and was apologetic but whoever cooked that day can't make gravy.
I am regular on bumpikin on Sundays for their amazing roast ! One of the best I had around here ! I was served by a great and friendly Emanuel! For few time I ha e been here , I always order extra gravy as I love it very saucy ! Most of the time they forget to bring it ! Today it was great that the extra gravy cane straight with the order ! Great vibe , terrific food and lovely vibe !
Had our works Xmas party here. Seating arrangements good - not crammed in like some venues. On the food front it was like there were two chef's - those that went for the traditional turkey weren't too impressed. The beef Wellington was a different beast entirely, perfectly cooked & with an awesome stock jus accompaniment.
