So delicious! The best Jerk chicken and my favourite place to eat in London. Great service in the restaurant and quick delivery if you have take away.
Could not taste the honey in the jerk honey glazed wings and the coleslaw was not good. Too spicy, could not taste the chicken either. Had high expectations from the reviews but very disappointed.
Great food and good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Best oxtail stew I have ever had.
I have been a customer since day one, the food served here is exceptionally well. My favourite is lamb roti and plantain chips. Im a big fan of the Caribbean cuisine which in its essence is a fusion of many different places and traditions brought to the Caribbean by the people who settled there including east/north Indians. Now, more than the food, I am a fan of the sauces, which is the reason in Its entirety why I fell in love with this cuisine, I love the jerk sauce and the hot sauce, boy that hot sauce, its not to be messed with. Im sure its probably expensive but how expensive exactly is it? I doubt that they pay more than 4 for a bottle which is an exaggeration to begin with, reason why Im even bringing this up is because Ive paid every single time Ive been to this place for extra hot sauce and not once was I given a proper portion, I dont get it I even asked the server there and even the manger who quite harshly told me that its what we give for the extra sauce, it was not even one quarter of the size of the tub for the price Im paying for the extra sauce I even said to her Im a regular customer here and I love the hot sauce and especially come for it. She didnt seem to care and just told me its what we give. Really? I mean I get it, customers will keep coming to your shop, whether I come or not but is loyalty really not worth anything? Treat your customers fairly and with respect, its the customers businesses run on, not hot sauces.
Last time I came here and asked fur the halal jerk chicken meal, I ordered to 1/2 half chicken meals which is my on the menu. Was served quicker than expected this time, however, the chicken was cold. When I asked why it was cold they said it was cooked a while back as they don't put the halal chicken on the grill, she said it like a it's ok to serve cold chicken. So in short if you want halal chicken go for early lunch and not dinner. If you request halal at dinner they'll either give it to you cold or won't be halal. Was one of my favourites places but extremely dissatisfied with my last visit so don't think I'll ever visit again.
